If you are having thoughts of suicide or harming yourself or others in any way please access one (or more) of the following resources:

- Contact the Tennessee Crisis Textline at 741-741
- Call 911 or 988
- Quickly make your way to the nearest hospital emergency room to be evaluated, and/or for emergency assistance on campus, you may contact FHU Security at 731-989-6911 OR call the UCC Emergency Line at 731-608-2590.
Due to high demands for counseling services, there is limited availability. Counseling in the UCC is designed to be brief and to assist getting you plugged in with services in the community after sessions with the UCC are completed. Beginning on 8/12/24, students are allotted a total of 8 free counseling sessions through the UCC throughout the course of time you are a student at Freed-Hardeman University. (Sessions prior to 8/12/24 do not count towards this total of 8 sessions). After 8 sessions, a $25 charge will be added to your account for each subsequent session.
